Website Evaluation

Have you ever been to a website that is hard to read? Have you also been to a website that was very confusing or unorganized? If you are creating a website, these are questions that you have to consider. Are the colors appealing or do they just hurt your eyes? Does my links work? If you just rush a website there will be errors. Now if you just follow some easy steps you can make sure a website or your website, looks and functions right. On most pages there are different colors. If you are making a website make sure the colors you choose are easy to read and don’t HURT your eyes. If you choose two dark colors, not many people will be able to read it. Also colors like orange and red will probably cause people to leave that page. So choose colors like red and black; a dark color and a light color is preferred. You can just choose one color just not the same color as the other color you have. Besides the colors, you have to pay attention to your layout.. Does the website have random things everywhere, or is it organized. You don’t have to be completely organized, but it would help people out if they cannot find a link to another page. Just have links at the top or bottom and group all of them, try not to place links in random places. Our final step is making sure everything works properly. Try out the links and make sure they go to where they say it is going too. Also the links to the other pages make sure they go to the next page. These are some of the steps that you can do to evaluating a website. Just look over your website and make sure everything works.
